As a veterinarian with many years of experience in conventional and integrative veterinary medicine, I care for dogs and cats both in my practice and through house calls. I prioritize calm, individually tailored care. My integrative approach considers each patient holistically, with the goal of sustainably promoting health and quality of life. Treatment can be carried out in close consultation with the patient's existing veterinarians, if desired, or used as a complement to their current therapy.

After many years of working in conventional veterinary medicine, it became clear that chronic or therapy-resistant diseases, in particular, often require a broader, integrative treatment approach. By combining Western veterinary medicine with Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM), it is possible to understand underlying pathophysiological processes more precisely, minimize side effects, and stabilize therapeutic effects. I work with acupuncture, laser therapy, rehabilitative ultrasound, Chinese nutritional therapy, Chinese herbal medicine, Tuina massage, and—depending on the indication—essential oils. The goal is to support the body's own regulatory and adaptive mechanisms and to promote functional balance. Each patient is assessed individually, taking into account their medical history and specific clinical situation.

I offer individual integrative treatments with the aim of improving the well-being, mobility and quality of life of animals, especially in cases of chronic or recurring diseases, diminishing response to therapy or limiting side effect problems.

Holistic assessment of the patient to classify symptoms and plan appropriate therapeutic measures within an integrative approach.

Low-level laser therapy
(LLLT)
Gentle, non-invasive therapy to activate cellular healing processes, promote tissue regeneration and wound healing, and alleviate pain and inflammation. Blue light can also be used to support the treatment of skin and ear infections.

Nutritional therapy
Nutritional recommendations based on TCVM to support organ functions and metabolism, especially in cases of chronic or stressful illnesses.

Individual application of standardized Chinese herbal formulas for accompanying support in functional imbalances and chronic disease processes, as well as for stabilizing the therapeutic effects of acupuncture treatments.
Tui-Na
therapy
Manual therapy to improve mobility, blood circulation and musculoskeletal function, particularly suitable for rehabilitation and pain management.
Ultrasound
It can be used as a supportive measure, especially in cases of age-related cognitive changes, cognitive dysfunction, restlessness, or sleep disorders.
Essential oils
Essential oils act, among other things, on the limbic system via the sense of smell. This area of the brain is closely linked to emotions, stress processing, behavior, and autonomic functions. As a result, they can help reduce inner tension, promote the organism's adaptability, and make animals calmer and more cooperative during diagnostic or therapeutic procedures. Furthermore, they can be used, particularly in the context of age-related cognitive changes or dysfunctions and sleep disorders.
